Lacey's Story
In 2022 I began my struggles with mental health. Highschool was rough and I had no coping mechanisms. Then in 2023 a few things clicked, I was diagnosed with ADHD and ASD and I started experimenting with new ways to help manage my emotions. One day I was Scrolling TikTok and a video of a young girl taking a plush out to the shops came up on my FYP. My fate was sealed. For two years I didn't go anywhere without my plushie (or ESSA if you want to be technical). I taught every person who I encountered about emotional support stuffed animals and eventually I had the idea of starting my business. It took weeks and weeks of website editing, posting videos and finalising wholesalers before I could launch. But when I did, it bloomed. Slowly but surely I was getting more and more orders. Goodness me how we've grown since then. Every change, every memory and every order just makes my love for this business grow.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us this far. We love you.

Do you deliver to Japan? We just moved to Japan and I want to get my second ever ESSA! This year has been really tough for me and my family. I already have a Bunny stuffed animal and I named her Bunny (Yes I know a interesting name) she is one of the half blanket half stuffie stuffies. And I think it’s time I get her a ESSA friend to help me too!💜 I also am wondering how do I send a picture of her?💜 have a great day or night!!!
My parents got me a bunny stuffed animal (They don’t make them anymore) and She has helped me my whole life. My parents got her when I was a baby and I still have her now. She is next to me as you read this. For 14 years she has been with me. I remember one time I lost her at my chiropractor and I cried on the way home and then collapsed in my bed crying myself to sleep and I remember thinking that I would never see her again. That was in 2021 I think. A few days after I found Bunny (Yes that is what I named her!) I was looking at my dads computer and he was looking for “replacements” for Bunny! And I asked why he was looking for that and he said “Just in case you lose her again” and I have NEVER lost her to this day.❤😁
Wow!! I have 8 ESSAs, and every single one of them helps me! I haven’t been diagnosed with anything (my mom refuses) but if I do get diagnosed, I suspect ADHD and maybe autism (it runs in the family). My mom hates my ESSAs and taking them on outings, sadly. I love them though and don’t really care about my mom’s opinions! I love Lacey Lane Plushies :)
Hi your content has helped me a lot I’m pretty sure I have ADHD thanks to you I know I have 6 essas and they have helped me a lot thank you
Reading about how these plushies help with ADHD and anxiety really touched us. My daughter also has ADHD, and before the plush has even arrived she’s already gave her Australian Shepherd Maizie an extra name – Trixie. Knowing she’s coming to us all the way from Australia makes it feel even more special. Thank you, Lacey Lane, for creating comfort that reaches so far.
