How do you change the currency?
You can change the currency using the button on the top right (next to the cart) or at the bottom of the page for some devices.
Do you ship to the US, UK, Canada, etc.?
Absolutely, yes, we do! We ship all over the world. Simply select a shipping option when you go to pay.
Why are Douglas Dogs so expensive?
We love Douglas Cuddle toys but to get them to Australia can be tricky. First, we have to order them and then ship them (which can be expensive). As they enter Australia, we also pay customs/taxes on them! So, it all adds up. We think it's worth it! We hope you do too.
What is an Emotional Support Stuffed Animal (ESSA)?
ESSA stands for Emotion Support Stuffed Animal. ESSAs are typically used for people suffering from anxiety or autism, though they can help with dementia, PTSD, depression and more. Our realistic plush dogs are cuddly and full of love for those in need.
How do Emotional Support Stuffed Animals help?
My plush dogs come with me most places. I have an emotional bond with them and brushing or patting them helps me manage anxiety. Back home, I organise, brush, and make videos of them, which helps me relax. They are symbols of comfort, security, and love—and help people connect.
Are your plushies only for people needing emotional support?
Nope! Many love them. On walks with Spencer (a plush Golden Retriever), people stop, smile, and share stories. These plushies are great for kids, older relatives, or anyone wanting a reminder of a beloved pet.
Are your plushies machine washable?
Our Bocchetta plushies are machine‑washable—gentle cycle in a laundry bag, dryer on low, then a brush. Douglas Cuddle Toys are best cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap.
